MON WHO CLAIMS HE WAS INJURED AT KISS CONCERT SUES LIVE NATION

According to the Courthouse News Service, a brain cancer patient who attended a KISS concert in St. Louis last year has sued show promoter Live Nation and others, claiming that he was injured by a flying debris from a cannon.

The alleged incident occurred during the final song of KISS' set, "Rock And Roll All Nite" (see video below), when William Mueller Jr. claims the cannon "exploded and with great force launched a metal ratchet tie-down strap" that hit him while he was standing at his assigned seat.

"(P)rior to this incident plaintiff had been diagnosed with a rare brain cancer (Esthesioneuroblastoma) and had experienced major surgeries and intense radiation therapy," Mueller says in the complaint. "At the time of his injury, plaintiff's body was in a weakened and vulnerable condition.

LIGHTING HITS TWO AT KISS CONCERT

Fans were lucky to escape injury when glam rockers KISS literally brought down the house during their Brisbane show last night.
Two people were struck when part of the lighting rig fell from the ceiling after fireworks were set off during the performance, Nine News reported.
One fan managed to film the moment the equipment came crashing down, smashing into a security guard.
"I saw the lighting tower come down off the roof and hit a cameraman on the head and then it bounced over onto the security guard," he told Nine News.
"I thought they sort of could have come and checked on him and made sure he was alright."
Brisbane Entertainment Centre said they had received no reports of injuries at last night's KISS and Motley Crue concert.
When asked about the falling equipment today, KISS star Gene Simmons said it was all part of the show.

Here you can see the set-list from the first night today Kiss played in Melbourne. Kiss played "Christine 16" and "Psycho Circus" today instead of "Shandi" and "God of thunder". They also switched the order of the songs. The first song can be seen here. 13.000 fans attended the show according to this concert review.

KISS 40TH ANNIVERSARY TRIBUTE ALBUM FOR CANCER CARE

My name is Mitch Lafon and I live in Senneville - I've put together the following charity  project to benefit a local palliative care centre. Using all my contacts from 30 years of a rock reporter - I've put together an impressive list of 'A' list rock stars from around the world to help us locally.
Recently, the KISS 40th Anniversary Tribute album for cancer care welcomed DON DOKKEN and MARK TORNILLO (ACCEPT) to the project.
Don will be covering the '70s KISS classic Cold Gin while Mark will venture into KISS' heavier '90s sound with his cover of Spit from the Revenge album.

Other songs and artists confirmed include:
Kill Devil Hill's Rex Brown & Mark Zavon doing Larger Than Life from Alive II, former L.A. Guns' frontman Chris Van Dahl doing Hard Luck Woman, Canadian metal icons Slaves on Dope doing N.Y.Groove, Detroit Rock City as sung and performed by Guns N' Roses' Bumblefoot, Firehouse's Bill Leverty with special guest appearance by The Killer Dwarfs, Russ Dwarf will handle Deuce, Great White's Terry Ilous covering KISS' power ballad Forever, Doro Pesch offers a special 2013 version of Only You, Honeymoon Suite cover the mid-80s ballad Reason To Live, Black Sheep's Willie Basse will performed I Love It Loud, Little Caesar's Ron Young will cover non-other than Little Caesar (from 1989's Hot In The Shade album) and one-time Gene Simmons records signee Ron Keel will belt out Rock N Roll Hell

A small fire broke out on the lights during the KISS concert. Lights were lowered and the fire was put out quickly while KISS entertain us with a cover of THE DOORS. Click here to see the video.

KISS IN ADELAIDE
According to a tweet from Tommy Thayer, Kiss played in front of 40.000 fans tonight in Adelaide. Kiss played "Crazy, crazy nights" instead of "Wall of sound" tonight. See the full set list here. A note there says:
"A minor fire ignites in the rafters resulting in Paul performing an acapella version of The Doors "Light My Fire" while the stage crew lower the lighting rig to extinguish it. Prior to Gene's flying stunt, he was in the middle of his solo spot when all of a sudden the guy that operates his pulley must have decided it was go time. Gene launched into the air, stopped for a second or two, then continued on to his platform with one hand grasping the cable, looking petrified. Then he dangled just below the platform and had to almost get some swinging momentum to reach it."
