BIG KISS FOR TRUMP VON GENE SIMMONS

Donald Trump has been accused of racism for stating that he questioned whether President Barack Obama was born in the United States. His alleged presidential campaign has been dismissed as a publicity stunt. The Donald does have one supporter: former “Celebrity Apprentice” contestant and KISS bassist Gene Simmons.  Simmons, who will play himself on Monday’s episode of “Castle,” even went so far as to claim that Trump was more qualified to run the country than Obama.

Fans agree, the KISS Expo shopping experience is not what it was in the '80s - But no more! The NJ/NY KISS Expo has fixed that and will be offering an unbelievable spread of KISS merchandise like nothing you have seen in a long time! Think you can find any KISS collectible you want on eBay or the internet? Think again! The upcoming Expo on May 14 will be featuring dozens and dozens of KISS Dealers from near and far offering up the entire spectrum of KISS Collectibles in every class and every price range! Every dealer will be a KISS dealer - no filler!

First, let me start off by saying I have a huge KISS memorabilia collection, I am a diehard KISS fan, and I have been going to KISS Expos for years.... I attend as many KISS events as possible; concerts, expos, signings, and promotions. At these events, I always end up running into other KISS fans whom I recognize because they follow the band around the same as I. It never fails - I end up getting into discussions about KISS Expos and why they have lost their luster. I always hear these major complaints from all the bigger fans and collectors consistently....

"the shopping at this expo sucks"

"there's too much new stuff"

"and there's not much here to choose from because there's tons of non-KISS stuff"

Does any of this sound familiar? I know I personally have said all of these quotes myself at one time or another. Luckily, as one of the promoters, I personally was in charge of screening the dealers for the 2011 KISS NJ/NY expo and I want to assure everyone -- THE SHOPPING HAS BEEN FIXED !!!!! I personally made sure the dealers who will be at the expo, will be carrying tons of KISS items spanning 1974 thru 2011. Furthermore, the memorabilia will be covering all price points. You will be able to purchase items from $1 to $5000....And to 100% guarantee this, I personally will be selling plenty of 1974-1982 items myself. I want to assure everybody I turned down a lot of potential dealers because of their lack of KISS items -- I simply told them to stay home. These people belong at a record show NOT a KISS EXPO. I personally selected people who want to break apart and sell their KISS collections.

For the first time in a long time, we will have a KISS EXPO with 95% KISS Stuff to purchase. We have 6,500 square feet of space for the expo, and the dealer portion of the space is sold out. I personally can't wait, I'm a collector myself and will be definitely doing some shopping. See everyone there.....

KISS SINGLES COME TO ROCK BAND 3

Beginning next week, fans can play live versions of two of KISS’s greatest hits – “Rock and Roll All Nite (Live)” and “Strutter (Live)”. “Strutter”, from the band’s 1974 debut album, was featured on the Guitar Hero II soundtrack. “Rock and Roll All Nite” was originally released on KISS’s 1975 album, Dressed to Kill. A live version of the song reached No. 12 on the Billboard singles chart and became the first of six of KISS’s Top 20 songs in the 1970s. The band has closed every live concert since 1976 with the song.

KISS TO PLAY IN POCONO ON JULY 13

KISS FOR PAUL McCARTNEY COVERS ALBUM

Paul McCartney is organising the recording of a new covers album featuring versions of his solo songs and tracks by his old band Wings.

The Cure, Billy Joel and Kiss are among the acts who have signed up to contribute, reports The Sun.

McCartney's son James has collaborated with The Cure for the album. He and the band recorded their effort in a studio in Sussex recently, although it's not been revealed which song they tackled.

The release plan for the album is also yet to be revealed.

Not only do we have the voice of KISS Alive II, (Eddie Balandas), but we have just confirmed J.R. Smalling, the voice of the 1975 KISS ALIVE album! Well, that man and that voice will be making an appearance at the NJ/NY KISS Expo Saturday May 14, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Somerset New Jersey.

Although known best as the announcer on KISS ALIVE, don't forget that J.R. was the first tour manager for KISS from early 1974 to the conclusion of the 1976 European tour. PEPSI SCREAM MACHINE
The "Pepsi scream machine" was available during the 1977/78 Kiss tour at the concerts. It was basically a cup, where you could punch out the bottom and use it as a "megaphone". The cup was available in different colours. Mostly in yellow, but also in orange, blue or green. Now a rare white cup was listed on eBay and people already started bidding on it like crazy...

TOMMY'S KRAFT NABISCO CHAMPIONSHIP WRAP UP

Just got back from Palm Desert and a wild week playing in the Kraft Nabisco Championship. Had a great time playing the first day of the tournament with Chinese pro, Shanshan Feng. Shanshan made a sensational hole-in-one during our round on the 170 yard 17th hole. Now that's impressive! The second day I had the pleasure of playing with the beautiful Norwegian Suzann Pettersen, one of the top 5 players in the world. Alice Cooper was kind enough to get me into the event which included a Monday night party where we turned up the volume and jammed with the local band.

GENE SIMMONS READY TO ROCK

Castle is about to get rocked by legendary KISS frontman Gene Simmons.

TVLine has exclusively learned that Simmons will appear as his badass self in Castle‘s Los Angeles-set murder-mystery episode, set to air in early May.

Per an ABC insider, Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) follow a lead straight to their victim’s Beverly Hills home, which just so happens to be owned by the rock superstar. Turns out, said victim had been living in the pad’s guest house prior to the incident. After a quick chat with Simmons in his fictional Beverly Hills backyard, the crimefighting pair sets off to continue their trek through La-La Land.

SIMMONS FOUND MORE FAMILY JEWELS ON HIS HOMECOMING

The Kiss frontman met a brother and three sisters whom he didn't know about.

The Kiss star, born Chaim Witz, emigrated to America with his Holocaust survivor mother Flora at the age of eight after his parents divorced - and he had never returned until now.

The 61-year-old and his partner, former Playboy model Shannon Tweed, are in Israel as part of his reality TV show Gene Simmons' Family Jewels.

On Monday, Simmons tweeted: "In Israel, land of my birth. Very inspiring. Bethlehem. Nazareth. Galilee, Jerusalem. Home to the religions - Judaism, Christianity & Islam.

"Never knew I had a brother and three sisters. Kobi, Sharon, Eugenia and Drora. We met. We reconnected. We loved each other.

"My father left when I was 7. Was married 6x (six times). No one knows where he was born, or how many children he had. He's always been a mystery to me."

Partner Shannon posted a picture of Simmons playing the guitar wearing a yarmulke that belonged to his father.

The couple, along with son Nick, were visiting Yad Vashem when last week's bomb exploded in Jerusalem - killing British woman Mary Jane Gardner.

Simmons said the attack would not discourage him from going ahead with plans for Kiss to tour Israel in the near future.

ACE FREHLEY VISITS GIBSON'S NEW YORK CITY SHOWROOM

Check out this rare shot of Ace with a Gibson custom shop SG Custom. This model was called the new Les Paul Custom from 1961 until late 1963 when it was renamed the SG Custom.
